We are an indoor arena polo team that competes against other teams within and beyond our region. Our season is from September thru March, typically culminating with Regional Championships at the end of March.

We have both a men's and a women's Varsity team, as well as a large Junior Varsity team. members range in skill from people just beginning to ride to experienced players. Anyone can join! There are tryouts for the Varsity teams and the competing JV teams.

U of M polo has flexible practice schedules - teammates can choose which practices to attend based around their own schedule and you can come to as many practices as you like. However, competing players do have set scrimmages. it is a great way to incorporate horses into your college experience witihout making a large time commitment or paying a great price.

We also welcome non-students in the community to join our membership. This allows you to practice polo on our horses and even play in some scrimmages!

For the 2011-2012 season we have a string of 13 excellent polo ponies with a large indoor arena. This is our second year with a true Varsity men's team, and we have a very competitive women's team. We plan to host several games this winter at our indoor and are also happy to travel elsewhere -
